Smarter Workflows. Better Visibility. Greater Automation.
Q2 2026 focused on simplifying complex healthcare workflows through automation, improved operational visibility, and enhanced coordination across departments. This quarter introduces major enhancements across Insurance Billing, Ophthalmology & Optical Management, Clinical Documentation, Laboratory Operations, Pharmacy, Procurement, Reporting, and Patient Management.
From intelligent insurance coverage management and optical workflow automation to enhanced inpatient documentation and operational reporting, every enhancement has been designed to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and help healthcare organizations deliver better patient care.
Here's a look at what's new in MocDoc Q2 2026.
👁️ Ophthalmology & Optical Management
Q2 introduces one of the biggest enhancements to MocDoc's ophthalmology and optical workflows, bringing together patient care, inventory management, procurement, billing, and reporting into a more connected experience.
Smarter Optical Billing & Prescription Workflow
Optical staff can now access a dedicated Optical Prescription List, displaying all patients whose optical prescriptions are ready for processing. Instead of manually searching using the OP number, users can directly generate Optical Advance or Optical Sales Bills from the prescription list.
The workflow automatically carries forward eye power, PD measurements, glass specifications, frame details, and lens information into the billing process, significantly reducing manual entry.
Automated Procurement & Stock Allocation
The Optical Advance workflow has also been enhanced with intelligent inventory and procurement automation.
Purchase Orders can now be generated automatically whenever an Optical Advance Bill is created. For organizations maintaining frame inventory, users can allocate available stock directly during Optical Advance by selecting the batch number, ensuring immediate stock reservation without waiting until the sales stage.

- Patient List by Optometrist
- Lens & Frame details in Advance Pending Report
