Insurance billing received several enhancements to improve claim processing and financial transparency.

Manage Insurance Coverage

Hospitals can now manage insurance coverage at the individual service level directly from the IP Billing screen. Services are grouped by department, allowing users to mark them as Covered, Partially Covered, or Not Covered. MocDoc automatically calculates the insurer's liability, patient payable amount, and generates an Insurance Coverage Breakup Print for claim processing.

Optical Workflow Automation

Optical Sales now includes a dedicated Prescription List, allowing optical staff to instantly view patients whose prescriptions are ready. Users can generate Optical Advance or Sales Bills directly from the prescription without searching by OP number.

Automatic Purchase Order creation from Optical Advance Bills further simplifies procurement, while batch selection during advance billing allows stock deduction whenever frames are already available.

Hospitals can now register emergency patients using a Temporary Patient ID, complete an Emergency Assessment, and later convert the patient into an inpatient without duplicate data entry.

Ward Request now also displays investigations prescribed by doctors directly from the IP Case Sheet, making it easier for nursing staff to order investigations.
