K.J. Hospital is Chennai’s oldest multispecialty 100 bedded hospital with many path-breaking achievements to its credit. As a pioneer corporate sector hospital, it has emerged as a role model for other hospitals since 1969. Former President of India Dr.S.Radhakrishnan was one of the celebrities of the country who was hospitalized at Chennai. He spent his last days, nearly a year at K.J.Hospital. The hospital also has the honor of entertaining the angel of the poor, Mother Theresa and leaving blessed by her for the free treatment being provided to the poor by the hospital.
